THE BLEND 100% Semillon
FERMENTATION Sorted 6 times, put through a vertical press and fermented in new barrels. 130 g/L residual sugar at bottling.
WINEMAKER'S NOTES "Botrytis set in at the end of October, in a few days, after abundant rain and dense morning fog. Magnificent, sunny weather, without excessive heat, allowed us, in about ten days and 6 successive sortings, to obtain extremely rich juices. Thanks to vertical pressing, we were able to extract the essence of a truly great Barsac wine, with an average alcohol content of 22.7°"
