Maison Glandien reflects a winemaker who trusts his raw materials and keeps the rest out of the way.

Maison Glandien

Maison Glandien is the micro-négoce of Berlin-born winemaker Tino Kuban. After time in cellars across South Africa, New Zealand, and the Jura, he settled in Meursault, taking over the former Domaine Bernard van Berg in 2018. The estate is now Les Jardins Vivants, where he works with a light touch and a focus on detail. With Maison Glandien, Kuban sources organic and often biodynamic fruit from small parcels in the Côte Chalonnaise, Hautes-Côtes, Jura, Alsace, and Beaujolais. Whites are foot-tread and pressed vertically with minimal settling; reds are typically whole-cluster with long macerations. Yields are extremely low—often under 10 hl/ha—and élevage takes place in Stockinger barrels with minimal intervention and only a small dose of sulphur at bottling.
