The "Luc" cuvée originates from a half-hectare lieu-dit featuring vines planted in 1972 on the hills overlooking St-Jean de Muzols. Situated at an altitude of 250 meters, the vineyards are planted in clay and schist soils. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks for two weeks, and then ages for 16-18 months in neutral oak barrels. The wine is bottled unfiltered and without the addition of sulfur. The wine is fragrant with notes of violets, blackberry and black pepper notes.
