Good bright cherry-red. Complex, sappy aromas of cherry, minerals, crushed stone, smoke and menthol; the purest of these 2007s to this point. Suave on entry, then intense in the middle, with enticing restrained sweetness to the slightly medicinal black cherry and crushed rock flavors. This shows lift from calcaire as well as size from the clay component in the soil. Finishes with firm tannic spine.
