Vinous

Vinous

(no hail here, allowing for a normal crop level of about 35 hectoliters per hectare) Excellent ruby-red. Pure aromas of blackberry, blueberry, violet and licorice. Spicy and aromatic, with lovely sweetness buffered by very good vinosity. Concentrated and nicely delineated. This firm wine became more pliant without losing its freshness and precision during its final months of elevage while a couple of the estate's Volnays show signs of evolving quickly.
