100% Pinot Noir from 35-40 year old vines in Kimmeridgian soils, this is fermented in used barriques with native yeasts. A later disgorgement, allowing the already cosniderable depth to come together further with a total of 5 years on the lees. The barrique-fermented Pinot vines used are from the bottom of the slope, which Dominique considers the strongest and most powerful, which with the structure generated by the soils often means the longest-lived as well.
