Encompassing 0.70 hectares of this small and precious lieu-dit, Meursault Les Rougeots features clay and limestone soils, with some of the oldest vineyards dating back to the 1940s. The winemaking approach follows tradition, with extended lees contact and aging in barrels for 15-22 months.

Aroma of crystallized citrus fruits shows an almost exotic cast. Supple, broad and powerful; much more horizontal wine than the Chevalier, which is from rockier soil. Impressively fat Meursault, finishing with a whiplash of fruit.
