Spanning just 0.33 ha and planted in 1960, Coche-Dury's wines are highly esteemed and eagerly sought after, making them among the most famous white Burgundies. The winemaking process is traditional, involving extended lees contact and aging in barrels for 15-22 months, depending on the vintage. According to Coche, his parcel from this vintage remained unaffected by rot or hail, displaying exquisite minerality alongside ripe fruit flavors.

Complex, ripe aromas of minerals and spices. Dense and broad on the palate; sweeter, smoother and altogether deeper than the examples from Meursault even though this wine shows excellent steely spine. Totally different in texture from the Meursaults. Really broadens out on the finish, which features steely flavors of pear and apple. Also tasted: Meursault.
